Aussie Scoops The Pool ...... Again
Tuesday November 24, 2009
Aussie Home Loans continues to cement its reputation as the country’s most successful and consistent mortgage broking company with stellar results in Mortgage Business Magazine’s Elite Business Writers 2009 survey.
Aussie has taken out six spots in the survey – more than any other organisation - which ranks the country’s 50 top performers in writing home loans and other personal finance products such as credit cards, personal loans and insurance.
Aussie founder and executive chairman Mr John Symond said the results were testament to the company’s ethos of being more than just a home loans provider.
“We are very proud to be able to offer our customers a broad slate of financial products and we continue to provide the best service in the business,” Mr Symond said.
“We are very proud of our team we’re passionate about maintaining our position as the country’s best broking outfit, with the largest selection of mortgage and non-mortgage products outside of the big banks.”
“We’re committed to continuing our excellent record of training the best and most knowledgeable sales force within the industry.”
To make the list, brokers had to write a minimum of $30 million in loans, they had to have a conversion rate of 80 per cent, less than one per cent arrears and 90 per cent of the work they submitted did not require a rework.
The results come just one week after Aussie scored 13 of its brokers in MPA Magazine’s Top 100 Brokers list. Again, it was the best team result for any individual broking outfit in the country.
Mr Symond said with the purchase of Wizard, Aussie now has a major retail presence with 145 stores within major metropolitan and regional areas throughout the country, adding to its force of 400 mobile brokers.
The Aussie brokers in the list include: Alistair Baker (18); Bill Groves (32); Serge Scekic (43); Mike Buchecker (44); Jamie Demas (49) and Shu Yamanashi (50).
An Aussie broker will offer guidance, assess eligibility, lodge the application and then support the first home buyer borrower through the home loan process. Aussie brokers are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, in all capital cities and regional centres at the request of customers who call Aussie on 13 13 33.
Aussie has been awarded Australian Banking and Finance Magazine’s Mortgage Broker of the Year in 2008 and 2009 and has a loan book of over $34 billion. With the acquisition of Wizard, there are now 145 retail storefronts and more than 800 brokers across the country ready to help customers get a better deal on their finances.
