Score Points Off Your Home Loan With Every Point the NSW Aussie Blues Score In State Of Origin
Tuesday, May 25, 2010
Naturally, all NSW Aussie Blues fans will be cheering for a victory over our arch-nemesis Queensland in the upcoming State of Origin Series which kicks off on May 26.
And now, homeowners can potentially save thousands off their home loan thanks to the on-field action. For every point the NSW Aussie Blues score against Queensland, Aussie Home Loans will give new customers 0.01% discount off the Aussie Standard Variable Rate (SVR).
For example, if the NSW Aussie Blues score 30 points, Aussie will give a 0.30% discount for any customers taking out a new Aussie Standard Variable Rate Loan for the life of the loan. And if the Blues don’t manage to score over 20 points, Aussie will still discount the loan by 0.20%.*(Terms and Conditions apply.)
Aussie’s founder and executive chairman Mr John Symond said it was a great opportunity to get behind the NSW Aussie Blues, and also get a great deal on a home loan at the same time.
“Of course we’ll all be hoping for a big score against the Maroons,” Mr Symond said. “And to be able to translate that into potentially huge savings off your mortgage is fantastic.”
“For example, if the NSW Aussie Blues score 20 points in the game you could save $15,294.81 off a $305,000 loan taken over 30 years.”**
Mr Symond said the offer will be available after each of the three games and was not dependant on whether NSW won the game.
An Aussie broker will offer guidance, assess eligibility, lodge the application and then support the borrower through the home loan process, whether it is for a new loan or to refinance an existing loan. Aussie brokers are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, in all capital cities and regional centres at the request of customers who call Aussie on 13 13 33.
As one of the country’s largest non-bank providers of financial services, Aussie has a loan book of over $36 billion. With the acquisition of Wizard, there are now over 150 stores and 850 Aussie brokers across the country ready to help customers get a better deal on their finances.
