Aussie Lends a Hand to Local Sport

At Aussie we value the importance of sport in the community. So we’re doing our bit to help the game at its grassroots by making a special offer to all those who play a part in local sports clubs.

We’ve created a program, which demonstrates our commitment to supporting the local community, and which has the potential to deliver thousands of dollars directly to local clubs across the country.

The program offers sporting clubs who get involved $100 for every club member who attends a home loan appointment with an Aussie Broker. This payment will be made by Aussie directly to your chosen club on your behalf.

Aussie’s founder and executive chairman Mr John Symond said the program had the potential to be a windfall for local clubs struggling to get funds. “The Lend a Hand program is a fantastic way of raising funds for local sporting clubs,” he said. “Just 10 appointments with an Aussie broker would probably exceed the takings from a sausage sizzle or lamington drive, with a lot less time and effort.”

Mr Symond said he was extremely proud to be able to support sport at its grassroots, where the future generations of Australian sporting champions lie. “The real heroes in the game are the mums and dads who tirelessly give their time and energy to support their kids in the game, whether it be coaching, running the BBQ, or selling raffle tickets to raise money for uniforms,” he said. “We’re pleased to be able to ease some of that burden by launching the Lend a Hand program.”
