Managing your existing Aussie Home Loan

If you have one of Aussie's own home loans, you can manage your loan securely online or over the phone. To activate access to online services, you should call 1300 44 55 66 and have your customer number handy. You’ll find your customer number on your mortgage documents.

5 simple ideas to help pay off your home loan sooner

  1. Direct salary crediting

    Talk to us about having all or part of your salary credited directly into your Aussie Home Loan account. Every day this money stays in your home loan account it reduces your outstanding balance and saves you interest.¹
  2. Repay fortnightly instead of monthly

    26 fortnightly repayments add up to the equivalent of 13 monthly repayments. That’s one extra monthly repayment every year. Over the years, these extra repayments can snowball into thousands of dollars saved and years off your loan.
  3. Repay more than your minimum contractual repayment amount

    Even a small amount can make a big difference over time. If you think you can afford more than your minimum contractual repayment, visit Aussie Online or call our customer service team, and start paying off your home loan sooner.
  4. Make additional repayments when you can afford it

    With a variable rate loan, you’re free to make additional repayments whenever you want. You’re then free to redraw these extra repayments if you need to². It’s like putting money in the bank, except you’ll probably save more interest than you’d ever earn†.
  5. Leave your repayment unchanged when interest rates fall

    We automatically reduce your minimum repayment on variable rate loans in line with any interest rate reduction on your loan, unless you’ve already nominated a higher repayment amount. But you can ask us to leave your repayment unchanged, so the fall in rates helps reduce your loan term.

  • Accessing your account online

    No matter where you are on the Aussie website, you will see the yellow "Account Login" button in the top right hand corner of the page.

    You can log in to your online account to:

    • Check your loan balance and interest rate.
    • Print up to the last 12 months of transactions on the loan account.
    • Confirm the next loan payment date and amount.
    • Send an email to our customer service team.
    • Change your password.
    • Request a redraw.
    • Change your repayment amount.
    • Request additional statements.
    • Update your contact details.
  • Changing your bank account details

    Simply download and complete the Direct Debit request form from Aussie Online and mail it to:

    Or fax it to (02) 9338 7710.

    Your request will be processed within 5 business days of us receiving your request form. Alternatively, we can fax the Direct Debit form to you, just call our customer service team on 1300 44 55 66.

  • Changing repayment amounts or frequency

    When requesting changes to your home loan by mail or fax, please ensure you include the home loan account holder(s) name(s), customer number(s) and home loan number(s). Please remember that fixed rate home loan repayment amounts cannot be changed.

  • Changes of name and mailing address

    As well as via Aussie Online, you can notify us of any name and/or mailing address changes by mail to the address above or by fax on 02 9338 7709. Or, you can call our customer service team on 1300 44 55 66.

    N.B. If there is a name change for one of the home loan account holders, we need a certified copy of the deed poll, marriage certificate or divorce papers. Certified copies must be signed and sighted by a Justice of the Peace or authorised person e.g. a chemist or post office manager.

  • How do I borrow more?

  • What if I need to reduce my loan repayments due to unforeseen circumstances?

    We understand the financial pressures unforeseen circumstances can place on you. Call our customer service team on 1300 44 55 66 and we'll discuss your options.

  • What happens when interest rates change?

    We will notify you in writing if rates change. If paying by direct debit, your direct debit amount will be automatically adjusted. If paying by direct salary credit, you may need to pass on the written advice to your payroll manager to have your payments adjusted.

  • How do I redraw some of my extra repayments?

    Visit Aussie Online or call our customer service team on 1300 44 55 66 and we'll send you a redraw authorisation. On return, we'll then credit your redrawn amount to your nominated account within two business days.

  • What happens if I want to buy another property?

    Changing your home doesn't always mean you have to take out a new home loan. We may simply be able to transfer your home loan to a new property3. Call our customer service team on 1300 44 55 66 and we'll help you find the simplest, most affordable option.

  • Can I get my salary paid directly into my loan?

    Yes, most Aussie Home Loans allow you to deposit your salary directly into your home loan. You can also keep paying your regular direct debit to cover your minimum contractual repayment and then deposit your salary into your home loan as extra payments. You can redraw these extra payments if you need additional cash within two business days by calling our customer service team on 1300 44 55 66.
