Aussie Funeral Insurance

We no longer sell Funeral Insurance to new customers. However, rest assured, for those of you who still hold a Funeral policy with Aussie, your policy is still in force and we will still pay out claims.* We are also here to answer any questions or queries you may have.

How to make a claim

If you or your nominated beneficiary (or your legal personal representative on your death) want to make a claim, call 1300 73 7697 as soon as possible after the event giving rise to the claim. You will then be sent a Claim Form.

1. Complete the Claim Form.
2. Obtain:
   
   
   • A certified copy of evidence of death (in relation to a death claim) or the evidence of the occurrence of another insured event
   • A certified copy of evidence of the insured's age
   • A certified copy of proof of your identity and your relationship to the insured (in relation to a death claim)
3. Send the above documents as soon as possible to:
