Aussie Home Loans has scooped the pool in MPA Magazine's annual Top 100 Brokers List, with 13 of the slots coming from within the company's ranks of mobile and franchise brokers.
The company has more brokers in this prestigious list than any other individual mortgage broking company in Australia.
Aussie founder and executive chairman John Symond said he was thrilled at the results, which cements Aussie's reputation as the best non-bank provider of financial services.
"We're excited by our great performance in MPA Magazine's Top 100 Brokers List for 2009," he said.
"We are very proud of our team of brokers and we're passionate about maintaining our position as the country's best broking outfit."
"We're committed to continuing our excellent record of training the best and most knowledgeable sales force within the industry."
Mr Symond said with the purchase of Wizard, Aussie now has a major retail presence with 145 stores within major metropolitan and regional areas throughout the country, adding to its force of 400 mobile brokers.
"And with our mobile sales force and increased web and telephone presence, customers are spoiled for choice when it comes to their home loan and other financial needs such as insurance, credit cards and personal loans," Mr Symond said.
Mr Symond said the result also underpinned the strength of the company's training and development for its sales force.
"As a company we are expanding, and are always looking for good candidates in franchise and mobile channels, who are interested in joining the Aussie family."
The Aussie brokers in the list include: Alistair Baker (20), Serge Scekic (58), Duane Brown (64), Kate Barnes (65), Robert Hodson (75), Mike Buchecker (76), Bill Groves (81), Joe DeSousa (82), Jamie Demas (83), Jim Sharif (87), Andrew Ward (90), Chris Antypas (93), Ian Colquhoun (97).
An Aussie broker will offer guidance, assess eligibility, lodge the application and then support the first home buyer borrower through the home loan process. Aussie brokers are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, in all capital cities and regional centres at the request of customers who call Aussie on 13 13 33.
Aussie has been awarded Australian Banking and Finance Magazine's Mortgage Broker of the Year in 2008 and 2009 and has a loan book of over $34 billion. With the acquisition of Wizard, there are now 145 retail storefronts and more than 800 brokers across the country ready to help customers get a better deal on their finances.
