Australia’s leading mortgage broker, Aussie Home Loans, has announced its national headquarters and new Customer Service Centre will move to the Grosvenor Place building in Sydney’s northern CBD.

More than 200 team members will move into the state-of-the-art Aussie headquarters in the second quarter of 2016, following a multi-million dollar refurbishment of the landmark building to enhance its tenant and retail amenities.

Aussie will lease just under 3000 square metres of space in the building, with new features including myriad collaborative working areas, two storey café and a range of premium team amenities.

James Symond, Chief Executive Officer of Aussie, said “We have designed the space to facilitate greater innovation, productivity, collaboration and enhance our very strong culture. We are investing in new technology to support activity based working and meeting spaces; empowering our team to work better together.

“Enhancing the work life balance of our employees by building a truly world-class working environment that will allow us to attract and retain the best people is key; and the inclusion of our customer service centre will play a fundamental role in this,” he added.

Aussie posted a record $20 billion in home loan settlements across the Group during the 2015 financial year. It now has over 1,000 Aussie Mortgage Brokers and has opened 180 purpose-built stores in just over 10 years, with a recruitment campaign for more mortgage brokers underway.

Mr Symond said “We continue to invest heavily in recruitment, training, technology and customer service to improve both customer experience and our own productivity, with our new headquarters to be the epicentre of our growth.

“Aussie will celebrate its 25 th birthday in 2017 and we need to ensure all facets of the business are what I call ‘match fit’ for an increasingly competitive home loan market, so we can continue to deliver the best service proposition possible to our customers and brokers across all areas of our business,” he added.
