Aussie Moonah and Aussie Mackay winning award

Aussie Home Loans has been named Australia’s Major Brokerage of the Year – Franchise for the second consecutive year at The Adviser Magazine’s 2015 Australian Broking Awards in Sydney.

Two Aussie stores also took out national titles, including Office of the Year – Franchise by Aussie Moonah in Tasmania and Best Regional Office by Aussie Mackay in Queensland.

Chief Executive Officer of Aussie, Mr James Symond, said "To be named Australia’s top branded mortgage broker for the second consecutive year is an incredible honour, and one that recognises the ongoing hard work and really incredible results achieved by everyone across the Aussie team, from head office to our 1,000 strong team of mortgage brokers.

“It’s also always really pleasing when our stores and brokers are individually recognised for their success, so I’m really proud of Corey Brennan and the team at Aussie Moonah for winning Office of the Year and Max Direen and the team at Aussie Mackay for winning Regional Office of the Year,” he said.

“Aussie Moonah punches well above its weight in terms of the sheer number of home loans they settle in a given year. For the award period they settled 417 home loans; that’s the second highest number of loans out of any Aussie franchise in the country.

“Aussie Mackay has also done an incredible job in really challenging market conditions. Despite a declining property market and contracting coal industry, Mackay held its own and I believe a lot of their success stems from the close ties they’ve developed with their local community over the years,” he added.

“We’re always looking for motivated, business minded professionals to join the Aussie team in city and regional areas around the country, so why not give us a call and find out how we can help you establish and grow your own business,” he concluded.
