A Sunbury mortgage broker with Aussie Home Loans, Mr Christopher Franklin, has been named by an industry magazine as one Australia’s best and brightest young professionals.
At 32 years of age Mr Franklin last year provided $36.8 million worth of loans to Sunbury families, couples and singles – a feat which contributed to his nomination as a ‘2016 MPA Young Gun’.
Mortgage Professional Australia’s annual Young Guns feature recognises talent and excellence among the future leaders of the mortgage broking industry, with nominees recognised for their customer service skills, outstanding performance and overall business growth and success.
Mr Glenn Edwards, Aussie’s State Manager for Victoria and Tasmania, said “Chris has been able to leverage off his excellent people skills and positive attitude to hit the ground running and become a standout among his peers.”
Mr Franklin said “Being recognised as one of the top, up-and-coming mortgage brokers in the country is a huge honour. Before becoming a broker I worked in hospitality, and the career change was made so easy for me by Aussie and the talented team I work with at Aussie Sunbury. I think having strong people skills from my hospitality days has really helped, and it’s been pleasantly surprising how successful you can become in a new profession so quickly.”
Mr Franklin is one of Aussie Sunbury’s mortgage brokers who are catering for the area’s first home buyers, investors and movers, as well as providing valuable home loan health checks for those looking to refinance and take advantage of historic low interest rates and the competitive mortgage market.
Aussie Sunbury is located at 63 Evans St, Sunbury and is open from 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday, and 8.30am to 1.30pm on Saturday. Appointments can be made outside of these hours by calling (03) 9740 9011.
