Following strong growth in home lending in Sydney’s Western Suburbs, Australia’s leading mortgage broker, Aussie, is officially opening its NSW/ACT office in Parramatta this week.

The new state office is home to approximately 80 people. More than 20 staff provide training, sales and administration support for Aussie’s operations in the fast growing western suburbs regions and beyond. It is also the base for many of Aussie’s mobile mortgage brokers.

Located at 85 George Street Parramatta, the office will be officially opened on Thursday 27 November by the Founder and Executive Chairman of Aussie, Mr John Symond AM, the Lord Mayor of Parramatta, Councillor Scott Lloyd and local business people.

When: 12.45pm, Thursday, November 27, 2014
Where: Aussie, Level 7, 85 George Street, Parramatta
RSVP: Tim Allerton, City PR (02) 9267 4511

Mr Symond says “I am excited to be returning our state office operations to Parramatta, where we originally launched Aussie Home Loans in 1992. The Aussie business was born in Parramatta, so I definitely have a soft spot for the community and many fond memories.

“Aussie will be providing Parramatta city with a boost as we will continue to expand our state head office staff and broker numbers over the next few years. Parramatta is close to the demographic centre of Sydney and we will benefit from being located in this thriving CBD. Access to major transport links and routes will provide convenience for Aussie customers, brokers and staff alike”, Symond added.

The state office will complement but operate separately to the award-winning Aussie Parramatta store located at 41 George Street; Aussie’s top franchise nationally in both the 2013 and 2014 financial years.

Under owners and brothers Ross and Scott Le Quesne, Aussie Parramatta wrote $221 million in home loans last financial year, representing an increase of over 47 per cent over the previous year.
