Join us for part 3 of our myth-busting blog series as we address some misconceptions about mortgage brokers.
For some people, the idea of having a stranger in your home is an uncomfortable thought. For others, it might be more convenient to go to a store or branch to get help and information.
This month luckily for me, busting the myth that a mortgage broker has to come to your home is an easy one. They simply don’t.
One of the great things about a mortgage broker is that they are flexible about when and where they will meet you.
So if you’ve been putting off using a mortgage broker because you don’t want someone in your home, delay no more.
An Aussie Mortgage Broker will meet you at a time and place that you choose, whether that’s in their office, at an Aussie store, at your office or even the local café. Some brokers today are even holding initial Skype meetings for clients that simply can’t get away.
Other common places our mobile brokers have met customers include McDonalds, Coffee Clubs and RSL Clubs and on planes, trains and automobiles. More unusual locations include at the hairdressers, at a cricket oval while the parents watched their child play and even in the car park at a Bunnings on the bonnet of the car! Mortgage brokers are about convenience and will typically come to meet you at a time and place that suits you.
So when organising your next appointment with a mortgage broker, perhaps you should go to that new coffee shop you’ve had your eye on!
Have you used a mortgage broker? Where did you meet them for your appointment?
