We reveal which suburbs are the most affordable within 10kms and 20kms of the city
Adelaide is Australia’s most affordable mainland capital city, and it experienced a 4.5 per cent growth in dwelling prices over the last year!
But that doesn’t mean all property in Adelaide is affordable, so we reveal where you can get more for your money.
Within 10 kilometres of Adelaide’s CBD, Gepps Cross topped the list for the most affordable houses with a median value of $333,000.
The majority of affordable suburbs for apartments closer to the city are in the City of Port Adelaide Enfield, with the winner being Kilburn at $231,776.
Within 20 kilometres of the CBD, City of Salisbury emerged as the most affordable council region for houses, with a median house price below $300,000. Topping the list is Brahma Lodge, located 17 kilometres from the CBD and with a median price tag of $256,000.
The most affordable apartments within 20 kilometres of Adelaide are also in the City of Salisbury, with the top two suburbs of Salisbury and Paralowie both having a median value of less than $200,000.
