Adelaide recorded the third largest year-on-year jump in sales last financial year, so Aussie partnered with RP Data to find out which suburbs are selling above or below the advertised price.
While home values in Adelaide grew a relatively low 4.3% last fin year, South Australia’s capital had the third highest increase in the number of sales up 7.3%.
This could be a sign that greater increases in home value growth are on the horizon, which is good news for property owners in Adelaide.
Across the city, one in four houses and one in five units are selling above the advertised price with the majority of those located close to the CBD.
Homes on average are also selling faster than before, down from 65 days to just 51 days on market so it’s becoming even more important for buyers to be prepared to think quickly and act smart by getting pre-approval before starting a property search.
Knowledge of the market and a strong will not to stretch yourself beyond your means are also key; so here are Adelaide’s Top 10 suburbs that sold above and below the advertised price last financial year.
