Two years ago, things were tough for Paul and Ann Lewis. Their son Tyler was 17 and was battling cancer, and to make him more comfortable, the couple needed to increase their home loan for home renovations.
Aussie broker Rebecca Robinson was able to help the family with their needs and they were able to make the necessary adjustments to their home.
“We were so happy with Rebecca’s impeccable customer service and caring manner, “ Paul Lewis said. “She was able to make a very difficult situation much easier for us with her attention to detail.
“We wrote John Symond a letter praising Rebecca, and we were thrilled to receive an autographed copy of John’s biography in return.”
The couple have longed admired John’s tenacity, drive and determination to bring competition to the banking and finance industry.
Last Monday night, Paul, Ann and their son Tyler – who is in full remission – got a chance to meet John in person, during his recent visit to Perth.
“We were thrilled to meet John,” Ann said. “He’s just like what you see on television, friendly, down to earth and really committed to helping his fellow Australians.”
Paul said they talked to John about how “Rebecca and Aussie had helped us out at a very difficult time in our life for us all and how she went that extra mile” for us.
“We also spoke about Tyler’s job working for a law firm, which is how John started in the workforce, and that he was a keen golfer.”
“All in all, it was a wonderful experience to meet John and thank him in person for Aussie’s help.”
