If you’re a self professed super geek like me and you love your technology and the latest gadgetry then you’ll want to take a squiz at the Cities of The Future infographic Aussie have come up with.
City #1 San Francisco
Now if you’re going to San Francisco, wearing flowers in your hair is completely optional (though highly recommended). Why’s San Fran on this list? Well for starters it’s home to the famed Silicon Valley (and now – I don’t mean the fantastic plastics of Hollywood) … instead think all the super cool technology based companies like Google, Microsoft, eBay and Apple – oh yes … we mentioned the ‘fruit company’ that Lieutenant Dan invested in.
City #2 Hong Kong
Gamers brace yourselves … for Hong Kong has the fastest broadband network in the world. If your idea of a good time includes stocking up on energy drinks, Doritos and playing Starcraft until the wee hours of the morning then Hong Kong is the city for you! You’ll want to dust off your credit card and head on over to Wan Chai computer centre to get your tech party started.
City #3 Singapore
The wifi in the Garden City might not be as lightning fast as Hong Kong but you’ll be chuffed to learn it is FREE! Yes you read that right … free. So saving your downloads for when you check into your hotel might be worth your while. After you’ve gotten settled and your downloads are running smoothly it’s time to head on over to Hackerspace to crack your knuckles and talk code with the locals and all in a super cool laid-back environment as well.
Have you got the digital travel bug now? Well then … pack your chargers, USB drives and every other wifi accessory you can fit into your neoprene laptop bag because it’s time to connect yourself with the first flight outta today and into tomorrow!
