Most of us know the real-estate cliche, “Location, location, location!” That means the value of a home, no matter how nice it is, is usually based on where it’s situated – whether in an up-and-coming suburb, along a good rail line or in a beautiful rural area.
But what to look for in a suburb really depends on your and your family’s needs. Will it be schools, transport, amenities and shops, or peace and quiet, bush walks and nice scenery? Be clear on what things are really important for your day-to-day life right now, and what location features you’d be happy to consider for your next home.
