Australia’s leading mortgage broker, Aussie, has announced a $1 million support partnership with Life Education over 5-years to empower children to make safer and healthier life choices.
The major sponsorship will significantly boost Life Education’s work in providing children in city and regional areas with life skills and knowledge.
The Healthy Harold and Life Education team travel around the country and Aussie intends to involve its 1,000 mortgage brokers and more than 200 stores to help engage with local communities.
Commenting on the partnership, Life Education CEO, Kellie Sloane said: “In 2021/22 we expect more than 700,000 young Aussies will participate in the Healthy Harold program. This partnership with Aussie will ensure that we can continue to develop and grow our program.”
Aussie CEO, James Symond said Aussie was proud to assist such a respected organisation doing such valuable work in the community: “At Aussie, we’re all about empowering Australians to make the right choices when it comes to some of life’s most important financial decisions.”
Aussie has helped Life Education navigate through COVID challenges, funding their online portal, providing access to Life Education’s resources for all young Australians, no matter how remote.
Mr Symond added, “Ongoing, we'll be supporting Life Education to help reach more communities and children by providing more access to the resources and knowledge they need to grow and learn. We’re excited to be supporting Life Education in their important work empowering Australian children and teenagers to make safer, and healthier life choices.”
Aussie has already helped Life Education navigate 2020 through the COVID challenges, funding the launch of their new online learning hub and providing access to Life Education’s resources for all young Australians no matter how remote.
Nationally, Life Education has reached a total of 53,387 students through its new online learning portal, which was supported and funded by Aussie. The launch feedback has been positive to date, and Life Education are in development of phase two, rolling out online learning as a regular program offering.

For nearly 30 years, Aussie Brokers have put progress within reach of more Australians, helping 1.5 million customers with their home loan.
