Take​ ​a​ ​step​ ​back​ ​in​ ​time​ ​to​ ​1887,​ ​when​ ​this​ ​schoolhouse​ ​was​ ​in​ ​full​ ​swing,​ ​with​ ​plenty​ ​of​ ​memorabilia​ ​to​ ​go​ ​with​ ​it​ ​and​ ​sitting​ ​on​ ​4​ ​acres​ ​(1.62​ ​ha)​ ​of​ ​land​ ​which​ ​has​ ​2​ ​lots.

The​ ​schoolhouse​ ​was​ ​transformed​ ​into​ ​a​ ​residency​ ​by​ ​its​ ​current​ ​owner​ ​of​ ​13​ ​years,​ ​seeking​ ​council​ ​approval​ ​to​ ​bring​ ​it​ ​up​ ​to​ ​code.​ ​It​ ​features​ ​beautiful,​ ​polished​ ​hardwood​ ​timber​ ​flooring​ ​throughout​ ​the​ ​entire​ ​building,​ ​they​ ​also​ ​added​ ​an​ ​internal​ ​bathroom​ ​with​ ​shower,​ ​toilet​ ​and​ ​vanity​ ​along​ ​with​ ​a​ ​galley​ ​type​ ​kitchen​ ​which​ ​has​ ​a​ ​gas​ ​cooktop​ ​and​ ​built-in​ ​oven.​ ​With​ ​no​ ​other​ ​internal​ ​walls,​ ​the​ ​living​ ​space​ ​also​ ​accommodates​ ​a​ ​sleeping​ ​area​ ​which​ ​once​ ​was​ ​originally​ ​the​ ​stage​ ​for​ ​the​ ​school.​ ​It​ ​still​ ​has​ ​exposed​ ​beam​ ​ceilings​ ​and​ ​some​ ​windows​ ​have​ ​been​ ​replaced​ ​with​ ​a​ ​more​ ​modern​ ​louvre​ ​system.​ ​There​ ​is​ ​also​ ​a​ ​gas​ ​heater​ ​which​ ​will​ ​stay​ ​with​ ​the​ ​property.

The​ ​property​ ​has​ ​2​ ​x​ ​5000​ ​gal​ ​water​ ​tanks​ ​for​ ​storage,​ ​solar​ ​hot​ ​water​ ​system​ ​and​ ​a​ ​more​ ​recent​ ​addition​ ​is​ ​a​ ​2​ ​bay​ ​lock-up​ ​garage​ ​with​ ​cement​ ​floor​ ​and​ ​power​ ​connected.

An​ ​old​ ​brick​ ​incinerator​ ​is​ ​still​ ​standing​ ​and​ ​remains​ ​of​ ​the​ ​old​ ​toilets​ ​from​ ​the​ ​school​ ​days.​ ​The​ ​old​ ​headmaster​ ​accommodation​ ​burnt​ ​down​ ​many,​ ​many​ ​years​ ​ago​ ​and​ ​a​ ​cement​ ​pad​ ​remains​ ​-​ ​this​ ​would​ ​give​ ​someone​ ​the​ ​option​ ​to​ ​either​ ​relocate​ ​a​ ​buy​ ​back​ ​house​ ​(STCA)​ ​or​ ​to​ ​have​ ​a​ ​tiny​ ​home​ ​or​ ​relocatable.

The​ ​block​ ​is​ ​flood​ ​free​ ​and​ ​has​ ​a​ ​large​ ​flat​ ​area​ ​around​ ​the​ ​house​ ​and​ ​then​ ​a​ ​gradual​ ​descent​ ​to​ ​the​ ​northern​ ​boundary.​ ​Most​ ​of​ ​the​ ​top​ ​part​ ​is​ ​fenced​ ​and​ ​cleaning​ ​up​ ​the​ ​remainder​ ​of​ ​the​ ​land​ ​would​ ​give​ ​you​ ​full​ ​use​ ​of​ ​the​ ​4​ ​acres.
