I’m Dean Logan, a Mortgage Broker based on the Gold Coast, where I’ve lived for the past 13–14 years, with brief time spent in Melbourne and Toowoomba. Having grown up on the Coast, I’ve had a front-row seat to the many changes the region has experienced — particularly the significant shifts in the property market over the years.

Being so close to home, it’s important to me to help others — whether friends, family, or new clients — navigate not only the Gold Coast property market, but markets right across Australia when it comes to finance and mortgage lending. I take pride in guiding people through what can often feel like a complex and overwhelming process, and turning it into something clear, achievable, and empowering.

I have a strong interest in all things finance and am currently in the process of completing my accounting degree. For me, it’s not just about understanding the technical ins and outs of banking, lending, and financial systems — it’s equally about understanding my clients’ needs, goals, and pain points. Taking the time to truly understand someone’s situation allows me to identify opportunities and angles of assistance that others may not see.

I’ve helped countless clients improve their financial position, with a particular focus on sharpening existing loans through refinances — often uncovering equity that can be used for investment opportunities or lifestyle choices. This may include purchasing an asset such as a vehicle, funding a new business, or creating greater financial flexibility overall.

Since partnering with Aussie, I can genuinely say I’ve never enjoyed my work more. Helping people realise options they didn’t think were possible, and supporting them through major financial milestones, is something I find incredibly rewarding.

Outside of work, I’m a husband and a proud father of two young children. As a family, we love spending weekends swimming at the beach or local pools, and enjoying small family getaways whenever we can. Understanding the needs and priorities of growing families firsthand allows me to bring a practical, relatable, and considered approach to my work — positioning me as a trusted choice for mortgage broking on the Gold Coast.
